ABOUT ME
Hello! My name is Mikayla, and I am originally from Lloydminster, Alberta. However, just in time to finish high school, my family and I relocated to beautiful Kelowna, British Columbia. It was a big change, but I quickly fell in love with the area and all it had to offer. After finishing high school, I worked my way up the ranks in various administrative roles. I found a passion for organizing and keeping things running smoothly, which led me to pursue an education in administration. I worked hard to earn my degree while continuing to gain experience in the field. During this time, I also met and fell in love with my husband. We got married and started our family, welcoming a young daughter into the world. It was a busy and exciting time, with many challenges and rewards along the way. Now, I am proud to say that I have built a successful career in administration while also balancing the joys and responsibilities of being a wife and mother. The past five years have been a whirlwind of change and growth, but I wouldn't have it any other way. I look forward to continuing to learn, grow, and contribute to my community in the years to come.
HOBBIES
INTERESTS
When I'm not at work, my focus shifts to my family and my garden. Spending time with my daughter Isabelle is always a joy, as she's growing up so quickly and always learning something new. We love to play together, whether it's building with blocks or exploring outside. My husband Adam is my partner in life, and we make sure to carve out time for each other whenever possible. We might go for a walk or cook dinner together, but whatever we do, it's always nice to have some quiet time to reconnect and catch up. My vegetable garden is another passion of mine, and I love spending time tending to it. There's something so satisfying about watching plants grow from tiny seeds into vibrant, healthy vegetables that we can eat and share with others. Whether I'm weeding, watering, or harvesting, I always feel a sense of calm and contentment in the garden. Overall, I'm grateful for the balance in my life between work, family, and hobbies. Each aspect brings its own joys and challenges, and I feel lucky to be able to pursue them all.
